Excillum is a leading company in the field of high-end microfocus and nanofocus X-ray sources. Our mission is to enable new science, improve medicine and enhance manufacturing by continuous development of state-of-the-art X-ray sources. As a software engineer at Excillum you will work in a broad role and play an important role in the development of new products as well improvement of existing products sconnected to our X-ray systems’ software. A software using mostly C ++ and Python in a Linux environment. Your team's tasks are, among other things, to work on finding an as precise "X-ray spot" as possible.
You will also:
Develop and implement algorithms to enhance x-ray performance
Design and implement SW infrastructure
Work closely with Excillum's customers to understand their needs and be able to integrate with their systems more easily
Work with testing, CI/CD and error handling
Develop and support the GUI/HMI of the sources

Some years of work experience within software engineering and with strong knowledge in C or C ++
A M.Sc. within the fields of engineering software, physics, electronics, mechatronics or similar
