Marketing & Communications Manager

This is an opportunity for a creative and results-oriented marketeer to build the brand of a Swedish tech company with a unique intellectual property and strong global market potential.

Do you want to be managing both brand build and lead generation at a profitable scale-up technology company? Do you enjoy being both strategic and hands-on? We are looking for a new colleague that will develop and implement our marketing and communications strategy. This is an opportunity for a creative and results-oriented marketeer to build the brand of a Swedish tech company with a unique intellectual property and strong global market potential.  

You would be the one driving all marketing and communications. This means a lot of mandate and the need for scoping and prioritizing diligently. Whilst taking ownership of the existing marketing scope, the key mission is to support our entry into new markets over the next three years by awareness and lead generation activities. You need an ability and a willingness to turn technical capabilities into market messages on multiple levels.  

You’ll work very close with the sales, product and services team as well as with the company leadership. The further growth of our marketing capabilities will be in line with business growth and you’d be responsible to plan ahead and be part of Excillum’s scaling up. You will work with 

  • Developing and implementing marketing and communications strategy 
  • Driving brand, company and product positioning 
  • Lead generation, campaigns, digital marketing incl. setting goals & metrics 
  • Event planning and execution 
  • Plan and produce content for digital and events
  • Liaise with agencies and designers to generate creative ideas and campaigns 

Your profile 

  • You have done all of the above before, and want to do it your way for Excillum 
  • Ability to drive, motivate and implement ideas 
  • Experience from technology industry, complex products and extensive sales cycles 
  • Experience of supporting global sales organizations and reseller/distributor networks 
  • Degree in marketing communications, or alternatively relevant experience combined with marketing communications diploma or similar 
  • Native or fluent in Englishwith further languages like Japanese, Chinese, German or French being an advantage
