About the role
Excillum is relentlessly pushing the limits of X-ray source technologies to enable new breakthroughs in manufacturing, medicine, and science. We are now looking for an exceptional individual to join us on our journey to unleash the power of the world's brightest microfocus X-ray source to do good in many exciting industries such as battery manufacturing for electrical vehicles and semiconductor & electronics manufacturing. Are you experienced in value-based & complex selling, curious on new technologies, intrigued by delivering solutions to customers, and driven by actual results? As a Business Development Manager you will manage existing & new accounts with great growth potential. Adding you to the team will give us more capacity for new lead & opportunity development. This is a new role that you will develop together with the team, so with their help you will quickly get up to speed on our technology and the customer's business.

We want our next colleague to be someone who has a lot of experience from complex B2B system sales, e.g. selling advanced components (HW/SW) to OEM's. You are fluent in English, and have worked with extensive sales cycles in an international setting. You naturally leverage CRM systems for effective and structured sales progress and team collaboration. Probably your education level is an M.Sc. in Engineering or Business.
In addition, you are a curious and results-driven, tech interested individual, who is excited to work at a scale-up company with all what that entails. You will need to travel once every 3-6 weeks.
