X-ray Scientist – Research, Development & Operations

Excillum has given me the great opportunity to build my career through working on cutting-edge X-ray technologies and combining challenging scientific work and experimental research. As an X-ray scientist at Excillum I have the chance to work with various techniques such as electron optics, X-ray imaging, micro-CT, programming and data processing that constantly helps to improve my skills and experience.  

I like the friendly atmosphere at the company, it feels like a big team with the same vision of what we want to achieve in all aspects of our business.

Excillum is a leading company in the field of high-end microfocus and nanofocus X-ray sources. Excillum was founded in 2007 by researchers from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) Stockholm, Sweden. The first product was market released in 2010, the MetalJet. Our mission is to enable new science, improve medicine and enhance manufacturing by continuos development of state-of-the-art X-ray sources.
