Meet Per, one of our X-ray scientists
"I missed my coworkers and the stimulating atmosphere of working within a research-driven company."
Hello Per!
You have a special history with Excillum, but before we get into that. Who are you?
I’m a 40-year old Ph.D. in Engineering Physics with a passion for photons in general and x-ray photons in particular.
What are you doing here at Excillum?
I’m working on research and development projects related to Excillum’s x-ray sources with a special emphasis on improving performance and reliability.
You quit here in March. What was the reason for that decision?
I had been with the company since 2011 and was ready to try something different.
You came back to Excillum three months later. Why?
I quickly learned that life as a consultant with shorter assignments was not my cup of tea.
What did you miss the most not working at Excillum?
I missed my coworkers and the stimulating atmosphere of working within a research-driven company.
Do you have a professional or personal goal you would like to share with us?
I strive towards developing my skills as an engineer and scientist both at work and on my spare time. My goal is to keep being versatile and never stagnate.
